Tyler Cowen (Wikipedia) is an economist at George Mason University, general director of Mercatus Center, and blogger at Marginal Revolution. Cowen is a supporter of more liberal migration policies, but a vocal critic of radical open borders and its advocates. Cowen has in particular sparred frequently with open borders advocate Bryan Caplan. Cowen’s arguments against open borders advocates have received significant pushback from open borders advocates.
