IMPALA, short for International Migration Policy and Law Analysis, is a cross-country multi-institutional initiative to compile the current and historical immigration policies and laws of all countries in the world in a manner that makes it easy to compare specific aspects of these laws, thus facilitating comparative immigration research. The research team includes people at Harvard University (US), the London School of Economics (UK), the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands), the University of Sydney (Australia), and the University of Luxembourg.

• IMPALA database website is the website where they intend to eventually put their database for public access. As of now, the site only includes the names of the scientific team and sponsors and a bibliography of relevant research.
