Alex Nowrasteh is the immigration policy analyst for The Cato Institute, a US-based libertarian think tank. Previously, he was a policy analyst working for the US-based free-market think tank Competitive Enterprise Institute. Nowrasteh focuses on the policy issues surrounding immigration. He has written extensively in favor of freer immigration and offered keyhole solutions to deal with some of the objections raised by restrictionists.
